Structure

An irregular and dispersed deposit of eleven pieces of mixed brushwood in the drain face (Wth 2.66m; D 0.18m). The wood is in a poor condition and lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with some ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
