Structure

One roundwood and three twigs on the field surface (L 0.892m min.; diam. 0.072m). The elements are unevenly spaced and parallel. Branch-trimming with a metal tool is evident on the roundwood. The wood is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with a large amount of Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
