Structure

An irregular scatter of fragmentary light brushwood (L 2.2m; Wth 0.4m; D 0.04m) on the field surface. There is no apparent structure and the site has been very disturbed by milling. Two metal-cut toolmarks are present. This site lies in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with occasional Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
