An irregular deposit (L 1.04m min.; Wth 0.74m; D 0.07m min.) of mixed brushwood on the field surface. The elements are dispersed with no clear orientation or structure. The wood is in poor to moderate condition. Woodworking is evidenced by both chisel and wedge points. This site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum. SMR OF019-081---- is 3.9m to the E. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
