Structure

Four closely set, parallel pieces of heavy brushwood on the field surface (L 0.42m; Wth 0.2m; D 0.04m). The elements are orientated NE-SW and two are partially charred at their S ends. This wood is in very poor condition and lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with occasional ericaceous remains. SMR OF019-097---- is 3.4m to the S. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
