Structure

A single roundwood (L 2.91m min.; diam. 0.076m) on the field surface in poor condition and broken at both ends. It lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with frequent ericaceous remains and Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
