Structure

Two pieces of heavy brushwood and a roundwood (L 1.75m; Wth 0.66m; D 0.06m) on the field surface. The elements are orientated NE-SW and are 0.12-0.39m apart. The wood is in moderate condition and lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with a large amount of Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
