Structure

Two pieces of light brushwood on the field surface (L 0.89m; Wth 0.56m; D 0.02m). The brushwood is irregularly laid, widely spaced and one piece deep. Woodworking is evidenced by a single wedge point. They lie in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum. SMR OF019-023---- is 4.8m to the E. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
