Structure

Two pieces of heavy brushwood and a light roundwood on the field surface (L 1.1m; Wth 0.25m; D 0.05m). The wood is irregularly laid, widely spaced and two pieces deep. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum. SMR OF019-026---- is 1.3m to the W. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
