Archaeological excavavation at 6 Mary's abbey in 2003 revealed a medieval wall foundation (Wth 1.1m, H 0.50m). It was composed of large , undressed roughly rectangular blocks standing at least two courses high. A wall standing to street height at the rear of the site also appeared to be composed of medieval masonry (Hayden, A.2006, 141).
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
