Structure in Eoghanacht

Associated with the early ecclesiastical remains at Cill Comhla (GA110-019001-). Three structures are visible: (a (GA110-019002-)) a line of collapsed masonry (E-W: L 8m), which Waddell (1976, 88) tentatively speculates could be the meagre remains of a small stone church; (b (GA110-019003-)) to SW, an L-shaped structure (NE-SE: L 4m, Wth 2.8m); and (c (GA110-019008-)) to W, a rectangular drystone structure (L 4.56m, Wth 2m). Its N half was best preserved and a póirín was built into its E wall. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'.
