What is recorded here

Semi-circular plaque set in façade of ESB station, reading "The Bowling Green 1773".
This late eighteenth-century plaque is not in its original location. Inserted into the ESB station wall c. 1990, it recalls the Bowling Green, which was originally located at the southern end of White Street (formerly Thomas Street).

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
