Lagavooren is an eight-sided limestone stoup from Newtownstalban, moved into Millmount Museum in 2017 after decades at Newtown House. Its small rounded basin and four pyramid stops suggest worship, practice or memory rather than display. It leaves behind a church no longer named in the story, yet it still gives back water, shape and time.

A rectangular stoup (dims 0.25m x 0.25m; H 0.24m) with a rounded basin (diam. 0.195m; D 0.164m), which had been kept at Newtown House and is probably from the nearby church (LH025-003001-) at Newtownstalban. The stoup was purchased in 1977, and donated to Millmount Museum in 2017 (Accession No. 2017:008). It is made from a grey limestone, and is octagonal in plan with pyramid stops on four of its facets.
