Stone head in Durrow Townparks is a relief face set into the east gable of a nineteenth-century outhouse in County Laois. It may have been carved after 1700 for that building, or taken from the nearby church and reused, giving the ordinary wall a ghost of older purpose. The head does not warn or praise; it watches the townparks with the patience of stone, waiting for people to remember that even a small outbuilding can hold a fragment of sacred or forgotten life.
