The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Small decorated solid-wheeled granite cross (min. H 0.66m; Wth (arms) 0.48m, (shaft) 0.2m; T 0.18m). Appears to be cross which was re-erected about forty years previously as a memorial, and around which stillborn children were buried (OS Name Books 1839). Inscription 'OKL. DEC. 1737. A.C.' mentioned in OS Letters (1839, 306) not now visible.
