Fourty-one stones circle a forgotten chamber on the bog, hidden until turf cutters broke the surface. One tall stone stands at the entrance, pointing toward the mountains like a finger pressing through water. The chamber waits beneath the moss, patient as the valley itself.

On low flat bog-covered marshy land in mountain valley with higher ground to NW and nearby river stream located 130m to SE. Possible stone circle (DG096-030) located 370m to NE. Circle appears to have been uncovered in an area of cut away bog when local people were cutting turf in this area over the last 200 years. The circle is incomplete and appears to have consisted of numerous stones (approx. 41 ) forming a large circular area (diam. 15m N-S). The circle is best preserved from S to W where the low orthostats protruding above the surface of the ground measure an average height of 0.5m x length 0.7m. There is a single tall standing stone (H 1.4m x 0.9m x 0.25m) at ESE which may be the remains of an entrance stone. This stone is orientated on a NW-SE axis.
