One of two stone circles appeared on Andrew Cremin's land in the 1940s, yet the exact spot has vanished. The stones may have marked a boundary, a gathering place or a forgotten ritual, but human memory has pulled them back into the earth. What remains is a gap in the landscape, a circle implied but never seen.
