On platform, on NW-facing slopes of Carrigagour Hill overlooking Laney River valley. Four radially-set stones (H 0.55m to 0.6m) delimit area c. 3m in diameter. Four loose slabs lie nearby. A Neolithic stone circle, dating to the 3rd millennium BCE, likely used for ceremonial or ritual purposes. Its location on a prominent hillside suggests it had a significant role in the landscape and community of early farming societies in the region.
