What is recorded here

Five stones circle a space barely larger than a person in a field near the head of the Owvane river valley. They stand knee to chest high on a sunny slope, small enough that a child could stretch both arms and touch opposite sides. The compact shape suggests a private chamber rather than a grand temple, perhaps a place where one person sat with another or thought alone while the valley breathed below.

In tillage on shoulder of SE-facing slope near head of Owvane river valley. Five stones are 0.5m to 1.1m L, 0.35m to 0.6m T and 0.6m to 0.9m H. Probably dates to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age, given the typical dimensions and layout of small stone circles in Atlantic Europe. Such sites may have had ritual or ceremonial significance, possibly linked to astronomical observations or seasonal markers.
