Peak of the brawling corrie
Stob Choire Claurigh rises to approximately 956 metres in the Scottish Highlands, forming a prominent summit within the Lochaber area. Its name reflects its association with a rugged, brawling corrie, typical of the glacial landscapes carved during the last ice age. The mountain matters as a notable feature within the popular climbing and hiking region of the Western Highlands.
