A section of Adamantine brick work supplied by C. [Charles] Davison and Company (established 1844) of Chester making a pleasing, if largely inconspicuous visual statement in Rowe Street Lower. NOTE: The C. Davison and Company Ewloe Barn Brick and Tile Works was active from 1933 to 1951.
