What is recorded here

Flight of stone steps, built c. 1860, concreted, c. 1950.
Though now concreted, these steps form part of an interesting group with similar nineteenth-century paving schemes. Steps such as these are found in many location throughout the city, and contribute to the unique character of Cork city. These paving schemes utilised cut limestone, which in many cases has been replaced or covered with concrete.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
