Overview
Stave Hill is an artificial viewpoint raised during the 1980s rebuilding of Surrey Docks, using material from the changed dock landscape. Its summit relief map identifies the former basins and channels, turning a new mound into a place from which residents can understand the water and trade structure hidden beneath housing and woodland.
