What is recorded here
No stone remains beside the Leitrim ringfort, though a vanished six-foot marker may have stood there before memory faded. The earth keeps its own counsel, hiding what it wishes and revealing only emptiness to modern eyes.
Listed as standing stone possible in the SMR for Co. Leitrim (1988) as there was a reference to a possible standing stone ' 6 feet long' (Blaney 1944, No. 123) just S of the ringfort (LE025-068001-). No surface remains of any similar stone was found in this area or around the ringfort.
