What is recorded here
Wolfhill holds a standing stone so quiet it resists description. H. Roe named it in her unpublished Laois list, but never gave it a point on the ground. The stone may still stand buried under bracken or forgotten beside a field edge, waiting for someone willing to walk the townland until it appears.
