What is recorded here

Kilmaine Bay stands in Thomastown, a lone stone marker beside the sea. Whether it marked a boundary, a burial or a meeting place has been forgotten, but the stone remains visible in the landscape. It is the kind of place where people once paused, oriented themselves or remembered an event no longer spoken aloud.
