Standing stone in Srahanboy

Unlocated remains of Standing Stone within the townland of Srahanboy described by Helen Roe as 'near Srahan a standing stone (now called cloch Sioffraigh, as it has been associated with the death of Geoffrey McCostigan, at the hands of Sir Charles Coote's men at arms) seems to be in association with two earthen forts (H. Roe A record of Archaeological Discovery, p. 9). Feehan in his book on the Slieve Bloom makes a reference to two distinct standing stones, one known as the 'Grey Stone' which appears to be LA010-004 and a second standing stone known as Costigan's stone that may be the ulocated standing stone described by Helen Roe in the townland of Srahanboy (LA010-010).
