Located on a little shelf in a mature mixed forest just E of the rock outcrop summit of Carrickbyrne Hill. This is an upright stone with a rectangular cross section (dims. 1.55m x 0.45m; H 1.6m) oriented NE-SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
