What is recorded here

Mortons standing stone at Sarsfieldscourt, a sub-rectangular slab .97m high, leans SE-NW in eastern pasture while a levelled circular enclosure waits 120m east. The stone may have marked the edge of a lived-in field, a boundary between ownership and memory, or a place where people gathered before the enclosure was built. Its sharp geometry and exposed position suggest it was set, not dropped, and still facing the same slope after centuries of rain and grass.

In pasture on E-facing slope. Sub-rectangular stone (H 0.97m; 0.6m x 0.1m), long axis SE-NW. Levelled circular enclosure (CO063-044---) c. 120m to E.
