What is recorded here

Muinganine holds one of three stones recorded by Bowman in 1934 on P. Jone's farm, measuring 2ft 10in by 6ft 3in girth. The exact spot has slipped from local memory, but the stone likely marked a boundary, a burial or a warning across generations. People may have touched its rough skin before journeys, asked it to remember what they forgot, or simply left it alone because it belonged elsewhere.
