Monfieldstown is a standing stone in County Cork, Ireland. It stands on a high plateau, pointing NNW-SSE like a finger laid across the sky. The stone narrows toward the top, as if pulling itself upward instead of falling. A person may have set it there to mark distance, death, direction or warning. The plateau still holds its shape, and the stone still points.

In pasture, on a high level plateau. This standing stone (0.6m x 0.65m; H 1.55m) is roughly square in plan and is orientated NNW-SSE. The stone narrows considerably towards the top.
