Machaire Loiscthe holds a broken standing stone near the sandhills between Sheephaven and Mulroy Bay. It stood 1.69m high before falling into two pieces on the gently rising ground north of the beach. People are re-erecting it, pulling old stone back into visibility after years of burial and forgetting.
A former standing stone now fallen and broken in two pieces. Originally it stood 1.69m high and is .7m wide × 0.15m thick. Situated just N of the sandhills that separate Sheephaven and Mulroy Bay, on land rising gently to N. This monument is now in course of re-erection.
