Knocknagoun holds a fallen standing stone, not a proud sentinel but a broken witness lying in rough grazing on a south-facing slope. The stone once touched the sky and marked the edge of human knowledge, but time tilted it into the earth until it became a long shadow rather than a vertical flame. You can still trace its length with your hands, feeling the weight of forgotten years pressed into cold rock.
