What is recorded here

Knockavoreen holds a standing stone on Mrs Twomey's land, measuring 2ft 8in by 6ft 5in girth. Bowman recorded it in 1934, but its exact location has since vanished. The stone may have marked a boundary, a burial, or a meeting place, yet no human trace remains to confirm its purpose. What is left is a shape in the earth, waiting to be remembered.
