What is recorded here

Killeens holds a 1.2m upright stone, still standing in pasture after centuries of rain and grazing. Its narrow 0.25m width suggests human choice rather than river chance, yet no name, date or ceremony survives to explain why it was set. Maybe it marked a boundary, a burial or a warning to travellers. The stone continues doing what it was chosen to do: being seen, remembered and left alone.
