In ringfort (CO074-006---). Opened by Caulfield in 1850 in a search for ogham stones; none were found. Caulfield records a single stone-built chamber with 'the flags of the ceiling supported by huge blocks of stone'. (Caulfield 1850, 441-4) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
