Killeeneen More holds a troublesome stone that refuses to remain where people force it. Redington recorded a triangular stone seven feet across, yet local memory warned that it never stayed put. The stone vanished before inspection, honouring its own name and leaving behind a field where obedience becomes folly.

In rough scrub and pastureland. Redington (1916a, 58-9) recorded a possible standing stone which consisted of ‘a roughly pointed triangular stone, now built into a single wall ... It measures 7 ft. [c. 2.1m] each way, and 18 ins. [c. 0.7m] thick. It was known locally as ‘Clogh a tumpaun’ or ‘Troublesome Stone’ because ‘it never would stay where it was put’.
