Keeltane holds a buried stone, not a proud one. It stood two feet eleven inches high with a ten-foot girth on Mr Barry's land, irregular enough to resist description but large enough to demand attention. Whether it marked a boundary, a loss or a forgotten road, the earth has taken that meaning back.

Bowman (1934, 716) recorded standing stone on Mr Barry's land; ' 2ft 11in high, irregular in shape, girth 10ft 10in'. Exact location not known.
