Kealanine stands ten centimetres taller than a man’s knee, blocking the eastern path along the Coomhola valley. It is not a grand monument, but a rough rectangular wedge of local stone, still proud after centuries of bog water and grazing feet. Perhaps it marked a boundary, a burial, or a warning to travellers that the river bend belonged elsewhere.

On rough grazing, on bog on a S-facing slope on the W side of the valley of the Coomhola River. This standing stone (1.05m x 0.55m; H 1.1m) is irregular in plan and roughly rectangular in section and is orientated E-W.
