No visible surface trace remains in the forestry below the crest of Glengoura Upper, yet the standing stone still holds its north-facing slope like a forgotten sentinel. The earth may have swallowed the stone or men may have dragged it into the soil, but the shape of the place still points to a marker lost beneath roots and time.
