One of two standing stones (9998) recorded by Bowman (1934, 87) on James Curtin's land, '...31/2ft high, 8 feet by 51/2 feet'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
