Standing stone in Glantane East is a 2.8 m subrectangular stone on a west-facing pasture slope in County Cork, aligned northeast to southwest. It still occupies the field like a forgotten marker, perhaps guiding people, marking a boundary or holding a memory now lost. Its size and shape suggest deliberate placement rather than casual rock, yet no human name survives to explain why it stands there.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Stone (H 2.8m; 1.3m x 0.8m) is subrectangular in plan, long axis NE-SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
