What is recorded here

Dún Na Manach holds two upright stones: a tall sister, 1.82m high, and a smaller brother, 0.4m high, set half a metre to the north. They face southeast and northwest like a threshold marked in granite. Perhaps people once measured shadow, tide or distance from them; perhaps they simply watched the Atlantic change colour.

Situated c. 225m W of KE054-081----, this stone stands 1.82m high and is 1m wide at base; SW-NE. A smaller stone, .4m high and .8m wide, is set upright in the ground about .5m to N.
