What is recorded here

Drominagore is a small townland in County Cork where a standing stone still stands on private land, recorded in 1934 as three feet high and three and a half feet across. Bowman measured it for P. Dennehy, but the exact spot has slipped from local memory, leaving the stone to be imagined rather than pointed at. It may have marked a boundary, a burial, a meeting place or a warning, yet no name has survived to say which. What remains is a stone large enough to see, old enough to lose, and hidden enough to become a story about forgetting.

Bowman (1934, 412) recorded standing stone on P. Dennehy's land, '...3ft high, 31/2ft x 2ft'. Exact location not known.
