What is recorded here

Derrynasafagh holds a rectangular standing stone aligned northeast to southwest, rising 1.5 metres above pasture that commands an extensive northern view. People may have scratched marks into its surface or read warnings in its shadow, yet the stone remains patient while humans come and go. It is not a monument to pride or a boundary for fields, but a quiet witness in West Cork, steady enough to outlast every argument about why it stands.
