What is recorded here

Identified and described by Tony Miller as; 'Set on a small platform on a steep heather-clad slope with view towards the eastern Pap and overlooking the Clydagh River valley. A small triangular shaped standing stone with a small terrace to the south. It measures c. 1.1m H x c.1m W and c. 0.15m thick. It is aligned SW-NE and points directly towards the cairn on the eastern Pap. The top of the stone has possibly been shaped. A small hut site is c. 20m upslope to the NW'. Likely dating to the Late Neolithic or Bronze Age, this standing stone may have functioned as a territorial marker or had ceremonial significance, possibly aligned with landscape features or seasonal events. No specific folklore is recorded for the site.
