Standing stone in Derreenanaryagh

Overlooking the Caragh river from a SE facing slope, this standing stone is located in poorly drained, rocky land at the W end of Macgillycuddy's Reeks. Roughly triangular in elevation, it stands 1.9m high and is of approximately rectangular basal plan, measuring 1.42m x 1m; NE-SW. Some packing stones are visible around its base.
