Deerpark in County Clare holds a standing stone, but human memory has not yet explained it. The stone may have marked a boundary, a burial or a warning, yet it still stands while the people who placed it vanished. Its silence is not emptiness; it is a waiting room where forgotten life still presses against the skin of the world.
