Standing stone in Dalystown rises one point seven metres from well-drained pasture in County Longford, its thin slab aligned north to south with small packing-stones at its base. A hut site lies one hundred and ten metres to the northwest, suggesting the stone marked a lived boundary rather than an empty field. People may have gathered there to measure shadow, claim territory or remember a name now lost, while the stone continued holding its line through every changing season.

On a rise in relatively well-drained pasture. This tall, wide, thin slab (H 1.7m; Wth 1.3m; T 0.2m) is aligned N-S. There are a number of small packing-stones at its base.
