Situated at the N edge of a broad hill. This is an Old Red Sandstone monolith with a rectangular cross-section (dims. 1.1m x 0.4m; H 1.2m) oriented NE-SW. A standing stone (WA027-085----) is c. 200m to the N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
